He is a smart little fricker.
He developed a taste for cat food but wouldn't eat it in front of us, he would wait until we went to bed and then he would eat the whole bowl. I remember thinking "damn that cat is hungry lately" at one point until we realized what was up.
Thankfully he is about 9" tall so putting the cat bowl up on a shelf solved that. He has since trimmed back down to fight weight.

Just be glad he doesn't eat cat food out of the litter box, if you know what I mean.
I didn't know that was a thing, until I had a college roommate with a nasty dog.

My fav was Panty Raiders of the last Ark. The drama in that one was outrageous
