I just did this in July. Went from a 2010 f250 to a 2015 Tacoma. I am a tall guy, and I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. My 1 year old was still in the rear facing carrier when I got the truck, and it fit fine. Now that we moved her to a forward facing car seat, there is plenty of room.

I really don't regret it at all. It is much easier to get my kids in it and take them around to do stuff. I am 6'4" and I don't even have the driver's seat all the way back. The furthest I've driven is about an hour and 45 minutes and it wasn't uncomfortable that I could tell. I probably wouldn't take it on a road trip to the beach, but that's not what I got it for.

And for the poster who said you can't haul a full sheet of plywood, I hauled 3 sheets of 1/2" in September and could have fit several more, they don't lay down between the wheel wells, but with any sort of tie down skills they fit fine

Man I hate to be that guy but you're full of it haha.

I have a 2012 Frontier (almost identical in size) and a 1 and 3 year old and there ain't shite comfortable about riding in my truck with both kids and a passenger.

I'm 6' 210 and that's as far up as I can go without licking the steering wheel. The passenger nearly has their knees in the dash to give my three year old any room.
