How do you know that? Sure didn't look that way a few weeks ago.

ok, if you really think this new model works, are you saying Alleva is a genius for literally being the first AD in college football (probably all of sports) history to do it???

Serious question, and I can't wait for your response.

And if you say yes, then I can't wait to see how many other schools implement this new method in the off-season.

Yeah the constant comments and reads over the past couple wins, coupled with incredible games and a historic comeback show me the team does not respect him or wants to play for him...what people will do to be “right” lmao.

My response had nothing to do with Alleva being right (as I don’t back him in anyway), as it does with your comment that we can have a cheerleader as our head figure that no one respects.

He garners plenty of respect, has shown many flashes of running a program better than he has in the past (with obvious early flaws as well), and has potential to run a great system. Am I saying this is the answer? Nah. But I’m not jumping off ship after a few bumps.

The system we are using is unorthodox but if your only logic is “no one else uses it therefore it isn’t good”, then I think that foundation of an argument is pretty thin.

It was secure from the moment he signed his contract. I am amazed anyone truly thought he could get fired in his first year. Only way would be a scandal that is why all the people suggesting the possibility he get fired this year are morons.

No different than any of the past 12 years or so. Didn't you pay any attention during the Miles years? Same thing happened then that's happening now. Perhaps you're only bringing it up now because you thought it was funny or warranted when it was happening under Miles watch?

One Team. One Heartbeat. One Fanbase

And another 8 to 9 win season. Lets pay 2 coaches to get same or worse result.

some folks are off their rocker wanting LSU to lose because they don't like orgeron. i have no fricking insight into that line of thought.

I don't think anyone thinks like that, though I can understand how someone could observe this board and come away with that impression.

I want LSU to win every game for the rest of eternity, but what I want has zero bearing on what's going to happen. Ultimately, I have to go on what I think will happen.

Some of you seem to think that you can will LSU to positive results through good vibes, or prayer or whatever. That's not how my mind works. Football is won because one team does their jobs better than the other team, and that's borne in preparation, with some luck, not because I want a certain result.

Actually, I work with two rkansas grads that both stated this morning that they hope the pigs lose out. They want Bert gone that bad. They did both state that "he's a nice guy though", which seems to be obligatory when dissing bert by an rkansas fan.

I don't care if hillary freaking clinton was named HC...I want LSU to win every game in every sport...period. We've loss two...so be it. That doesn't mean that I want us to lose three or four more so a coach can be fired. If said coach loses a lot of games (without serious extenuating circumstances), then fire him. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that.

Hell, if I was a pig fan, I'd want Bert fired, even if he won out. The SOB sucks as an SEC coach. Personally, I hope they extend his contract for another ten years. Hoping your team loses, for any reason, only means that you're not really a fan.

One Fanbase

Unfortunately that is not the case. There are people that think they are helping the program by all the negativity towards the head coach. They are shite head fans that will gripe about any and everything. This small part of the fanbase, but they think its majority if you read some of the shite posted on here.

There have been several "rip the band-aid off quickly" posts on here over the past few weeks. These people wanted "O" to go down in flames quickly so that we could move on right away.

This board is a cesspool that only hurts the team.

Chicken should do something. If he has any soul he will get rid of these haters.

Not saying they came out and said they wanted us to lose, but they definitely said they didn't care if we lost.
