It has trap game written all over it. LSU is coming off an emotional and frankly relieving win while Ole Miss just put up 57 points on a not so bad Vandy team.

LSU better be ready next week. Not a guaranteed win. None of the remaining SEC games are.

I don’t think this team is so overconfident that a “trap game” is even in the cards

Usually great teams have to be worried about a trap game. I have no doubt this team is taking all games seriously.

I can see us winning games we shouldn't and losing games we shouldn't. I hope we have the same fire because I will be in Oxford to see it for the first time

Ole Miss will definitely be extra fired up for LSU with their old coach. They have a very good QB who can put up big numbers, so we will have to be ready. I think we may be able to run at them with our RBs better than we have been doing against other teams, so that should help. But yes, big trap game that they need to be ready for.

I don't think you know what a 'trap game' is.

Yep, even if we contain Patterson as well as we did Stidham, they're gonna throw it 50+ times; that translates to 300+ yds....

We'll have to score a lot and keep him off the field as much as possible....Guice coming-out party would be right on time!

I think you need to understand what a trap game is

It’s an SEC rivalry and we’ve already lost to Troy and State, nothing left on our schedule can be considered a “trap”

Beating Auburn will do wonders for their confidence. They’ll will out except for Alabama. The Tide is at a level of its own.

The "not so bad Vandy team" has allowed 49+ average the last four games, not the same as throwing against our team.

Best thing about playing Ole Miss is that they don't really have a run game at all.

We'll give up a few big plays, but LSU should win this one. Will most likely need anywhere from 28-31 points.

No, but they are a very different challenge. They played mistake free football against Vandy and their offense put up 600 yards. They throw a lot, that should favor us. Our DNA should be able to snag a couple of ints. Shea can run a bit too.

I don't think it's a trap game, it's an SEC west game.

bullshite.

Ole Miss isn't a trap game. It's a litmus test.

Ole Miss doesn't have a win over a team in the top 50 and got beat down by Auburn and arse raped by 60+ by Alabama. They are coached by a position coach filling in for their real coach ( ), and are not a threat to any team with real aspirations.

Are we the kind of team that will play up and down to the competition? Or are we a team that just needed to find our groove and finally on track to do the things we are capable of doing.

Enough of this excuse making. Alabama is the only team left on our schedule capable of beating LSU. We are facing four teams left with terrible rosters and likely lame duck coaches.

Any other losses would be regression and prove that this comeback from a 20 point deficit means more about Auburn that it does about us.

9-3. Get there. No excuses.

Our DBs are going to have to play their hardest game all year. Ole Miss has some talent at receivers and Shea is capable of getting them the ball (even though he is one goofy looking son of a bitch).

However, they have absolutely no running game at all and their defense is atrocious. We should be able to just line up and run the ball down their throats and chew up clock big time keeping Shea and those receivers off the field.
