That was gunned down yesterday while on patrol in New Orleans east. Probably not. They'll keep using the anthem as a protest against police violence while thugs are executing cops in the streets.

On a side note, the officer drew his taser while wrestling with the murderer. It wasn't effective. This is why cops draw their firearms more often than not.

It is actually infuriating because this guy died doing his job in a city where many cops don't do shite anymore. It also hits home a bit because my mom actually works with the fallen officer's wife and they just had a kid. I would really like to see the dome come together and do something for him.

Do you want football to be political or not?

Make up your minds.

There is and has been a serious problem, criminal even in the violation of civil liberties, with LE in this country.

One LEO killed in the line of duty does not equal the weight of what is being protested.

Why you so angry? You hate blacks?

Players were already kneeling long before moment of silence. They did not begin kneeling DURING moment of silence. Fans booed during moment of silence.

I'm sure the New Orleans East Saints will honor him.

If New Orleans is a 3rd World country, New Orleans East is a post-apocalyptic hellscape.

On the other hand the officer has been acknowledged and honored by black citizens and leaders all week( on tv and in paper) if anyone’s been paying attention
