There was a McDonald's by the university of Louisville that gave out the sauce early and the fans of the show lost their shite

My autistic son loves the show. We stood in line for 2 hours to get sauce. Have to say, it was damned tasty.

So I only first heard about this show a few months ago. I didn't really want to watch a cartoon, I outgrew family guy and south park many years ago. But I knew the show had to be funny. I've seen people who I know have excellent taste in movies/tv shows say it is really funny and a great show, but still I didn't want to watch it.
I just watched the first episode and it was absolutely horrible. Are there fans of the show on here? Does it get better? It was awful. How has this climbed to number 7 on IMDB. There is no way this touches Arrested Development/Seinfeld/The Office...or even Family Guy(which isn't funny either).
Is the first episode known to be notoriously bad or is this a good representation of the show?

I was a fan of his and a year or so ago sent him a tweet and it ended up being two days of me arguing with a frothy mouthed lunatic. It was bizarre.
Any guy that comes up with the great, weird stuff that he comes up with has to be off in a good way but this cat is f'ing crazy.
I'm not sure if it was here or the poli board, but I talked about it at the time without saying who it was.
