> I want the practice green to roll like the greens 1 through 18.
> have a short game / chipping area so I can practice the most used shot in my bag besides my putter....a chip when I miss the GIR
> I don't play the on the PGA Tour, the European Tour or the Web.com tour....don't make your greens so fast that your course could hold a q school event.
> For a club membership, don't pimp out your course for every fundraiser or charity event...Pisses me off when I bust my arse and can leave the office early on Friday and the course is closed for a tournament.
> I don't need the assistant pro or starter to tell me how tough the course is playing today - I have not sniffed par in nearly 15 years - I know the course is hard and I know my game is rusty in some areas.
> I am a sucker for a good golf shirt or hat from resort courses when on vacation.
> Make sure the beer you are about to sell me is ice cold and that there is ice in my cart ice chest to keep my brews cold
> I like all courses but I love a well maintained / landscaped course.....I go to relax, have fun and enjoy being away from the desk....a nicely maintained course makes it better.

My sentiments exactly. Good post.

Good post, want to add on to this though:
Really drives me crazy when pins are put in awful spots on every, single, green. If it's a weekend, and no tournament or anything, make the pin locations a variety. I played over the weekend when 8/9 greens on the front nine were back right or back left tucked pins on a Sunday morning.
