Man, you libs really like to bend the truth.
He imported slaves to the new world for the first time, i.e. started the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.
Also, not a lib, not in favor of removing Columbus from anything, but I understand the arguments progressives use to purge these extremely important political figures from our history.

No he didnt. He enslaved many of the indegenous people he encountered, and sent many natives back to Spain to be sold as slaves.
