Thanks for that link man. I've only been an LSU fan the past 12 years (actually they were the reason why I started to watch college football in the first place). I've heard of his name, and that he died before ever coaching here and people talking about how he could have been a legend, but this is the first time I've ever seen the actual story on this.

After watching that and seeing the coaches he was mentored by, the peers that he mentored with, and who he mentored, I believe he could have been the greatest coach in LSU history and one of the greatest coaches in CFB history.

This brings me to this year. With guys like Chad Morris and Scott Frost, LSU shouldn't have to settle one more year for a meathead like Ed 0. With young guys like Fleck, Brohm, Taggart, etc, on the market last year, we settled for a 55 year old DL coach. A old man with a horrible HC record and no true prowess on either side of the ball.
