Before you say it no, I'm not affiliated with them. It was posted on Landry Football
The host was an assistant coach at LSU under Arnsberger and worked with Sabah in the NFL. It is very information on the behind the scenes working from hiring Curly on through hiring Orgeron.
Cliffs:
- Saban was leaving LSU regardless of Dolphins job after Emmerit left LSU. He loved working under Emmerit
- Skip got played by Del Rio and was never coming here. Hired Les after getting spurned by Del Rio.
- Michigan never wanted Les either time (2007 or 2010) because Loyd Carr HATES Les. Something about Les negative recruited against Carr saying he had Alzheimer's. Les reached out to Michigan and they did meet at Voodoo BBQ but no offer.
- called Alleva an egomaniac and crushed the Orgeron hire.
There is a lot more that I'm forgetting

Chris Landry. Runs Landryfootball.com
Worked under Bellichik and Saban. Former scout, player development guy.
Just another in one of the millions that thought this was the wrong hire and is laughing now.
We ARE the laughing stock.

That's such bullshite. They just had to get Brady Hoke...a true Michigan man, over Les Miles who had won a title and had come off a 10 win season????
So stupid.

Not that I disagree with most of it, but it takes an arrogant egomaniac to know one. Landry had a show in BR a few years ago. He was informative and very knowledgeable but didn't last long. Dude is FULL of himself.
Skip Bertman said last year on live radio with Hani and Ott that Les absolutely had an offer and turned Michigan down. Bertman said he was in the meeting with them. Bertman was brutally honest that day. Even talked about Saban calling and wanting the LSU job back after going to Miami. Skip said, I can't just fire this guy and give your job back. Single dumbest thing skip ever did while being the most ethical thing also.

Comment about Carr supposedly happened during recruitment of jai Eugene. That story has been out there for years.
