re: Older Remington 1100 info

My 1960's model 1100 3" Magnum 30" full choke barrel is a buckshot throwing beast. Bought a 28" barrel with choke tube when steel shot became law. Duck killing machine. Keep it clean. Change o rings to Viton material and don't forget to clean gas port, which is small hole located under barrel lug. Lug is round piece attached to barrel which slides over magazine. My 1100 shoots softer than my Maxxus...
