re: Why do people send kids to boarding school

Lots of reasons, Teenagers and parents are like water and oil. It's just hormones and has nothing to do with parenting skills.
And yeah, I guess some parents aren't good at it so they send their kids to a place where they will get guidance and an education. Is that wrong?
For the record I went to boarding school and it was a great experience. Not for everyone but the friends I made there remain the best ones I have.
