Q: Can you leave on Wi-Fi and LTE all day? Q2: If yes to above and I'm out of Wi-Fi range, will it instantly switch to LTE?
Really interested in this myself. Picked up the GPS only Monday and my initial thoughts are the range from phone to watch is spotty at best. Many times i'm not more than 15 feet from my phone and lose connectivity. As such I am considering returning and going LTE not for music but just to be a fail safe when i'm 20 feet from the phone or on the move in the office. Don't want to do this if it will kill the battery though. Also need to know if it moves from Phone to LTE on its own if I move out of range.

Same for me too.
Also my final concern is what is coverage like on the LTE Apple Watch indoors? Often I go running in my gym as it has an indoor track. However, this LTE version will be pointless if it gets 0 coverage inside or skips every 4 seconds.

Yes, the watch switches to LTE only
I'll try and see how LTE is indoors

Heres a question I had someone may be able to answer. I have a series 2, and I was under the impression that when the watch and the phone are on a known wifi network, the watch is always connected to the phone. Is this the case, or is it strictly bluetooth?
Just seems like when I'm at my house and leave the phone in the kitchen that my watch will disconnect.
Edit: Found this:

Depends on the type of wifi network you connect to.
