So now we're back to the head coach limiting the offense? Orgeron may not be a good head coach but I think we can say with absolute certainty that he isn't limiting what Matt Canada can do with the offense. The offense is all on Canada and everyone knows it. They made it pretty clear that he has complete control of what happens on that side of the ball. That seems to not be such a good idea in hind sight and this offense makes my balls ache. I liked the Canada hire initially but the shifts are already getting on my nerves. Just run the fricking plays, because you're not confusing anyone by switching the tackle and the tight end or putting a receiver in motion only to go back where he started before every play.

Didn't Orgeron say they do not have the WR talent to run 4 wide?

i won't argue your point on the shifts but motion is very valuable and always has been. it can determine pre-snap if they are in man or zone. it also makes someone account for that man when you use him in end arounds/jet sweeps, quick screens/passes to him as he finishes his motion outside, etc. decoys aka ghost motion is used by NFL teams also. If you think motion is useless you have just shown TD your football ignorance. congrats.

Another question I have is the lack of completions over the middle. Is Etling too scared to throw over the middle or are our WR covered on over the middle routes?

Also, where are Guice and our TE's in this passing game?
