What was the point of moving 5* DB Jacoby Stevens to WR?

What's the backstory on this? Why did they move a valuable piece to the defense to offense if they haven't even used him? Has he even gotten any signinficant playing time yet?

Of all the things to worry about this is what you pick?

It's a legit point. Roster management and moving players around falls on the head coach. At least it's supposed to. At this point Ed is liable to blame Austin Thomas.

Maybe he hasn't picked up the WR assignments as quickly as I thought? That's the only thing I can think of.

Jacoby was the slowest to pick up the defensive schemes and is having trouble picking up the routes and offense under Canada. Amazing athlete but needs more time to understand football at this level. Be patient.

Really good question. He has gotten a little playing time and caught a couple balls. My guess is that if his PT doesn't increase he'll probably transfer. As far as safety goes, I doubt that his play could be any less underwhelming than Battle & Delpit. The only two players on defense who have had consistently good grades are "Greedy" and "Devin".

The WR coach probably doesn't know the assignments either. Great recruiter though.

See this is where is subscribe to the Charlie Hanigiff quote of "give him one route he can learn and let him go out and run it." If that kid (or any kid for that matter) is that talented, you find a way to get him onto the field.

So we should never question the moves of a unproven HC after a monumental loss....Got it. We'll just go back to rowing the Fun Boat and act like nothing's wrong

We want as many highly recruited players as possible, not playing at the WR position.

I'm sure the coaches have a good reason for this. They wouldn't purposely keep him off the field, especially now when we need all the help we can get.
