LSU was really sloppy - I blame O and the Staff

LSU was pushed around on the Lines- I blame Les and the tDecline

LSU quit 3rd Quarter I blame O and the Staff

I am still semi optimistic this can part of a rebuilding and culture building year - In my heart I know we are treading water for 3 years until the buyout, and I am sad

What is you truth

PS- I am crap poster and I know it. I am not trying to get better. No need to note that in replies.

Have an upvote!

My tell the truth is it's time to start Brennan NOW!!!!

We are already playing a ton of young and inexperienced guys so why not let Brennan get that experience now in hostile road environments. This way next year he doesn't have the deer in headlights look and he will be prepared.

Tell the truth.

Why did we give a D line coach a 12 million dollar buy out?

O does a great job recruiting even if he's an absolutely terrible game day coach.

Saban retires in 2020.

LSU hires a great coach after O implodes.

LSU goes to the SHIP in 2021.

My tell the truth:

I wanted O to succeed. Bought into the hype train this pre-season even though my mind and gut told me not too. I enjoyed the first 2 games but at some point during the 3rd, all my worst fears and suspicions came true.

I think we are in for a very rough 2 years.

LSU looked undisciplined and less than motivated. - Blame O

Matt Canada's offense is walking the line of being to cute by half. I get the pre snap motions and shifts to get mismatches...but where are the mismatches? We haven't even broken off a long run yet. - Blame Canada and O for brining him here

The defense looked atrocious. Maybe the worst game we've had on D sense Bama 02. I wonder how much of that is because of Canada's up tempo play...resulting in a 3 and out..then giving the offense more time to score. The only benefit of the Les Miles offense (and the reason he ran it) was that it would drain the clock and limit the amount of points an offense can score on you. So therefore in his mind, we always had a shot.

I think we are gonna lose 5 games this year baws.

My Truth Monday:

frick this, let the year run out and then if we finish with 7 or fewer wins then we can O and go after Wilson. We should have never let that man leave.

Brennan needs to get some meaningful snaps to see if we can incorporate anything he can do into the passing game.

Stop the jet sweeps or at least do them less.

Truthfully, we are not as talented as I thought we were.

Tell the truth:

Alleva is the problem in all of this mess. His coaching "search" last year was the biggest joke I've ever witnessed.

We have an Athletic Director so incompetent he gives Ed O a $12M buyout when O was BEGGING for the job. Beyond stupid business decision.

Alleva needs to be fired if this season plays out anything like Saturday did.

Time to put the Miss State game behind them and move along and learn from it..... There are still 9 games left, play hard and beat the next opponent... Quit pointing fingers and improve.

Tell the truth Monday....That offense looks a hot mess. Guice stock is going to plunge in this offense.....especially against BAMA.

Tell the truth Monday....Arden key is the only playmaker on the Defensive line and he is still dinged up.

We have one of the best offensive & defense coordinators in the country. I agree Orgeron may not be the greatest, but he lets these guys handle each unit because they are the best at what they do.

I agree you can still blame coaching, but c'mon man. We are inexperienced. We were getting man handled up front on both sides of the ball. These guys did everything they could from the side line.

Its ridiculous to just blame the coaching. You have to remember these are 18-22 year old kids who just did not perform and missed their assignments.

The main "bad" thing about Saturday is - other than the scoring drive, we've got nothing to work on that's good on offense. It's almost back to the drawing board. I'm no expert - if it really was execution and the plays were correct, then I'm flat out wrong.

Defense has plenty of film to work on now. They say you don't really learn anything from success, only failures - well, the defense got a post-graduate education Saturday night in Starkville. Last year - in almost every game we lost, the defense played well enough to win. That's not the case for this game.

We pay these coaches very, very well to do a job. They have their work cut out for them over the next 3 weeks.

The truth is that a small, but vocal, portion of our fan base is to blame for this mess.

My truths:
• If LSU, as a University, is serious about contending at the highest level of college football on a regular basis, you don't hire Ed Orgeron as your head coach.

• If you are not going to start Brennan in what will clearly be a down (deeply), you need to at least start getting him some meaningful snaps in games. Etling is, at best, a mediocre band aid to the future.

• This team has got to focus on recruiting more offensive (quality) lineman. Our fascination with the DB position and this DBU moniker is crap. While considered a speed conference, you win on the line of scrimmage in this conference.

I do.

This football program has been in turmoil since the championship game against Alabama.

- Blame Miles for never being able to properly and truthfully explain that debacle to the fans
- Shame on him for sending the program on this decline and dividing the fan base
- Shame on the players who fail to maintain their playing status and wasting scholarships because of drugs, crimes and academics
- Blame the coaches that recruited those players that failed to identify the character that led to that behavior
- Blame the coaches for failing to develop players and failing to devise schemes that make the players successful
- Shame on the administration and athletic department for failing to handle coaching issues/searches with class and due diligence
- Blame the administration for the outrageous financial obligations to coaches
- Blame the media and the staff for overhyping expectations
- Shame on the fans for believing the hype
- Shame on the fans for leaving the stadium empty at home games in the 4th quarter
- Shame on the message board fans for using stats like NFL rosters with LSU players to rationalize our perceived elite status to fans of other teams

There's plenty of blame and shame to go around. If we're telling the truth, we've all played our part in getting us where we are and the way we're feeling after this loss.

Doesn't mean there haven't been great moments either. Players who have sacrificed and represented the university with class, who have done outstanding humanitarian work in the face of tragedy and injustices. Fans who have traveled to enemy territory to support the team and those that stay to the bitter end in a 37-7 blowout loss.

Could it get worse this year and through the next few years? Yes, and perhaps it needs to before significant and correct changes need to be made. Then again, maybe this team will shock us all and recover from a loss that habitually derails the only expectation of every season.

I love our coaching staff but this team was not ready to play Saturday night.

We got beat in every phase of the game from pre game till we got back on the plane.

We looked bad in all phases on offense. We looked bad in all phases on defense. Coach O had the brook trout look. Alleva fricked up bad.

Matt Canada's offense is just a Cam Cameron offense with pre-snap shifts and motions. The running game has gotten worse, and the passing game is barely improved.
