So does the awful Saints season rid both teams of Loomis

Does this epically awful Saints season lead to the demise of Loomis for both teams, which means this team brings in a Pres of Bball Ops?
The only way to get rid of him it seems is for the Saints to be awful, because the Pels sucking won't do much.
The answer is obviously no bc TB isn't really in control anymore and Loomis isn't firing himself. But it's the one way we could have changes with this org.

I agree with you that change would be nice but Loomis is a made man in the Benson family.

Especially awful?
Isn't this how every season has started the last few years?
And yet... he has stayed.

4 years straight and this team looks especially awful.

How is this Loomis' fault to the point where he'd get fired? Didn't he already get de-responsibilitied when they brought in Ireland?

I was listening to Off the Bench this morning, and they had a commentator on that said its insane to think one GM can run two successful major franchises.
The rest of the leagues in both NFL and NBA think our front office is a joke! He made the comparison of the Detroit Lions being run by the same guy that runs the piston, absolutely unthinkable.
Please just fire both front offices and start from scratch, bring in a basketball mind for the Pels and fresh blood for the saints.
Having elite athletes on both franchises, and not making the playoffs is unbelievable.

They're not wrong. Although in all honesty with regards to the Pels Loomis' title may be President of Basketball Operations but his actions are more of Owner's Proxy. He doesn't want to give up that POBO title for some reason though. I'm guessing it's a holding power thing for when Benson dies.

death, taxes and Loomis ruining New Orleans sports

Loomis essentially admitted that he has little to do with the Pels and basically just lets Dell run the show.
He is, as ATL said, essentially the Owner Proxy.
Which is somewhat insane.
Hire a damn Pres of Basketball Ops. Loomis can still be the owner proxy.

Both teams? To what extent does Loomis have any impact on the Pelicans? Do you even know? Does Loomis?

Yep , it's hard to picture him being told to hit the road.

His impact is that we essentially DON'T have a President of Basketball Ops so Dell Demps gets to essentially do whatever he wants.
Get a real basketball guy in that spot.
