Absolutely.

ETA: FWIW it would be better for Maria to not do an eyewall replacement until she's running up on PR. She's a really tight storm right now, max winds don't extend out far. So better to have an intense hurricane with a narrow band of major hurricane impacts than a slightly lower windspeed with a big windfield storm.

agreed. she's a tiny storm and very minor shifts in track can have huge impacts on any of the islands including PR. Hopefully the 15 miles of hurricane force+ winds can stay offshore to one side or the other. Of course this presumes no EWRC that would cause an expansion of those winds as you say Duke.
