I've never had wireless charging, but I guess the one benefit is being able to set it down on the charger when you're on the fly, or when you're half asleep and its dark you don't have to root around for the cord. Don't think you'd want it to be your only option, definitely have a regular cord in addition

shite, I was going to get the 8 for wireless charging, but if that's the best thing about it, I guess I'll go with the 7 instead. There has got to be more?
