I'll probably buy an 8 when in a few months since the battery life is slowing down.
Most of the features are on the 8 and the X besides the video emoji and the facial recognition. Not interested in either of those all that much. Also, unlike the Apple designers I really don't mind having a button on my phone.

I think it looks cool, but I would miss the TouchID. Seems like a pain in the arse to hold the phone up to your face to unlock it each time.
