The issue on the spillway usually is that people here believe that the left lane is for cruising at exactly the same speed as the car to their right. That starts a ripple effect as some percentage of the drivers trapped behind the resulting blockade have little patience and less self control.

There was a fatality there Friday. Went back today to complete follow up investigation, getting measurements, pictures and completing accident reconstruction.
