The issue is more likely the DA allowing him to plead down the attempted murder/drive by shooting (37.1), since he wouldn't have been eligible for a suspended sentence/probation without serving at least a year.
The agg assault with a firearm allows him to walk.

The DA is probably also banking on the fact that there is a 100% chance NBA YoungBoy violates his probation.
