A disproportionate amount of points are scored in the last two minutes of the half and of the game. Teams hurry up, play calls get more aggressive, time outs get used and some defenses go prevent.

Even as someone who generally supported Coach Miles, there was no denying LSU struggled with their two minute offense. Wasted seconds in the Auburn game last year became Mile's nail in the coffin. We sometimes waited until under a minute to go to act with any urgency at all.

Since most all of LSU's losses in the last few years have been close, we are left to wonder how many games might have been won with more points scored at the end of the half or end of the game.

Presumably we will see a vast improvement here. Canada will be a more agggressive play caller and getting plays called and run quickly should be second nature to an LSU offense that will be up tempo most of the game anyway.

Aside from the two minute offense, I am looking forward to seeing our offense at the line of scrimmage with 20 seconds or more on the play clock and not be rushing to get off a play as the clock winds down because the play did not get called in time. Now I just hope we can execute up tempo without a lot of motion penalties and such.

I'm looking forward to the coaching staff being aware of how much time is left on the clock.

The two minute O under Miles and Cam was beyond atrocious. I have never in my life witnessed such disorganization and incompetence by a major college football team. It was embarrassing and there is no other way to put it.
