Expand on why GoT is overrated. Just because it has a massive following?

Honestly, I don't think you can say the Walking Dead is overrated.

It is the best, most involved post-apocalyptic story ever put to film.

The only think that gets close may be the entire Planet of the Apes series.

What it is doing in this long-form TV series is what films can never achieve.

GoT is just another tale with castles, kings, queens, and knights. But it is a good one. You can argue when it is over if it is/was overrated, but you cannot say the Walking Dead is overrated. That's like saying James Dean was overrated. Or Elvis, or the Beatles, or any new first thing was overrated.

You might not like it, but that doesn't mean it isn't special to the form.

Considering that I've never met anyone who didn't think that Walking Dead was pure shite I guess it's GoT by default.

GoT is now my all-time favorite - eclipsing Breaking Bad and Lost.

The Walking Dead was cool the first few seasons, but like the graphic books, it has faded drastically

I think both of them are very accurately rated.

Apples and oranges comparison.

After the debacle of a story line that was the governor, I dropped Walking Dead like a sack of rotten potatoes. It became too redundant before that story insulted my intelligence.

GoT is consistently good.

If both shows ended tomorrow I dont think I'd really care about not seeing the ending for Walking Dead. However, I'd lose my mind if I didn't see how GOT wrapped up.
