Ironically, Kimmel's career is the one that will plummet

Jimmy Kimmel's opinion is worth as much to me as LSUTangerine's.

Actually, tonight he called for crowning Trump king of America. Trump would have a crown, serve for life, live in a castle, and make ceremonial appearances, but have no actual power.

Trump broke him. Before Trump, he was just a lighthearted comic who kept politics largely out of his show and stuck to making fun of pop culture. Once Trump got in the race, it was like he was given a memo that stated "Thou shalt include a 5 minute Trump-bashing segment at or near the start of each show's monologue, whether it be funny or not!" You can tell Jimmy's tired of it. It stopped being funny a year ago. It's played out.

We should totally add a constitutional amendment. If a comedian says the president should resign, he should have to.

I resigned from watching Kimmel's show a while ago. He started becoming too much as a partisan hack and wasn't even being funny, just bitter. At least when Conan does something mocking Trump he tries to keep it funny.

You know all of these peoples' shows are fricked when the crowd isn't even laughing, rather CHEERING at "jokes" pertaining to Trump/Republicans. It isn't comedy. It's group think and it's dangerous and has ripped this country beyond repair.

Jimmy Kimmel's job is to attempt to entertain everyone with a television set. He should stick to it.

McCain and Kimmel do both have brain diseases.

One ounce of Johnny Carson's poo contains more humor than every late night talk show host currently on TV.

His kid was actively involved and Kimmel has been well known in his own friend circles as being emotional and easily brought to tears. I do think that's the first moment though he came out firmly against Trump.

Kimmel was hard core anti-Trump from the start, he just hid it a little better early on. Even before the thing with his kid he was starting to come unhinged. I could look past it for a while and still enjoy some of his things, like Unnecessary Censorship, but I finally pulled the plug on him. I did stick with him longer than Colbert, though that was mainly because Colbert's new show was just bad, even before he started in on Trump.
