Had Major played the whole game, Texas would've beaten Colorado in the 2001 conference championship and then played for a NC. He almost led them back anyway.

It seems like Friday Night Lights (tv show) patterned the Matt Saracen/JD McCoy dynamic after Applewhite and Simms
