You do realize that you're comparing Chad Jones to maybe the greatest athlete who ever lived? I mean I love the dreads of doom, but come on man

just to clarify, Alabama has never had and football player compare to Bo Jackson, nor has any other team in the SEC including Georgia

Chad was remarkable. Against Miss State he ran back a punt for a touchdown. But better yet he saved the game at the end by deflecting a pass.

Bo was one of the great athletes of all time. Chad Jones was slightly above average for an NFL athlete. There is no comparison.

quote:

Chad...from a dead stop ran down Darren McFadden when McFadden had a 10 yard head start

No, he didn't. I don't even remember the play, but there has never been a human being who could outrun Darren McFadden by 10 yards in, say, a 50 yard stretch. If Jones did it, McFadden wasn't running full speed.

Jones was good, but had he not been injured he'd have been about the fifth best safety LSU put in the NFL in the last 12 years. Definitely behind Eric Reid, Laron Landry, and Jamal Adams. Oh yeah, and The Honey Badger!
