The Real Problem- Baton Rouge

To my amazement the city is 54% Black and majority of those are living in poverty (for whatever reason). The mindset of many are pure ignorance as to what life really is about and are raised via hip hop culture (I know first-hand) which leads to lack of respect for life and others.
Couple this with a city that is very limited on job opportunities for the unskilled or under educated. Low wage jobs that doesn't provide for a better life and you have a recipe for some desperate people doing some desperate things. City need more than jails and police need some VERY PROGRESSIVE THINKERS and not the status quo "as long as mines together the hell with them" SAD SAD SAD I moved away and WOW life is so better in progressive multi cultural city

so you've diagnosed the problems with crime in Baton Rouge as low income African Americans
You should write a book or contact the city officials
Complete bullshite, it's a lack of accountability. Glad to know your rap careee didn't take off though

Maybe they should stop, collaborate and listen

Cash crop babies left to raise themselves. They drop out of school and learn on the streets. Single parent households in government subsidized areas. Learning to live off the government. Mom is ignorant and speaks Ebonics. Nobody knows who the father is. It is a vicious cycle that will keep getting worse. Giving children a proper upbringing and teaching respect and morals, along with proper education is the only answer.

The problem is black culture. The solution is a progressive multicultural city.
I guess so.

The way the kids are raised is a huge problem. Also, education isn't stressed enough.
If a kid in the hood tries to do good in school and acts proper, the majority of the time they're made fun of and told they're acting "too white". A lot of these kids grow up watching their parents sell drugs and commit crimes and it just keeps the cycle going. Crime is romanticized and looked at as cool and as you mentioned, part of it is because of rap and kids taking things too literal, instead of viewing it as entertainment.
Single parent homes are also a huge problem. Especially, when the mother has 5 kids from 3 or 4 different dads.

There have been a couple recent people like you sign up.
Wouldn't surprise me if you were the "hey look what I got the TD people to agree to" type folk.

Rhyming words to a beat that 90% of the time wasn't made by the "artist" or was stolen says everything you need to know about the culture.

Let's get this out of the way: you're a fricking racist.
No sense in prolonging the inevitable.

No shite sherlock. Congrats. I disagree though that city lacks opportunities for blue collar labor though as construction is still booming around here. There is no doubt opportunity for the right person looking for it

Until black society takes a long hard look in the mirror and says " you know maybe it time to stop blaming the white man and get to work" nothing will change.

You just described most southern mid- to large cities. You can think progressive politicies for the problems, starting with LBJ.

I miss the old days when people actually took responsibility for themselves. When they understood that to move up in life they were expected to IMPROVE THEMSELVES, and for the most part they DID. No everyone didn't get to be a millionaire, but it was a generally understood concept of the more you had to offer in the form of experience, knowledge and dependability, the better compensation you would receive.
Liberals have fricked this country and generations of people up by brain washing them into believing that they should not have to put out effort to benefit in life. The hollow bullshite message of "Just because you are alive you DESERVE to have all the best things in life with no regard to how others have achieved them" is the cancer on this and many other societies.
The socialists liberals have sold the minorities a line of bullshite of epic proportion with their message of "You can not get ahead in this world with our help and us in power."
And now that the voting usefulness black community has been all but used up by the liberals, they are moving on to the immigrant Latino block. In a few short decades they will take a proud hard working culture and beat them into submission and chain them too up on the liberal voting plantations, dependent on social handouts and brainwashed into thinking they can't better themselves unless they keep the ones who put them in chains in power.
But it's not surprising, slavery is what democrats have always been best at.
