New car technology is going to take care of this for the most part in the next decade. Auto collision warning, autobraking, side and rear collision alerts are amazing. I have them on my 2017, Soon enough they'll be mandatory.

They are amazing, until you have to have them repaired from a collision. New technology in vehicles is one of the major factors in repair costs skyrocketing.

But why not just pay attention and learn how to drive instead of relying on all of these idiot-proofing gizmos? I don't like automatic headlights.
