After 8 years of jacking around with ryobi and home life crap I broke down and bought a stihl today. Wow. Can't believe I waited so long. Ended up with the 56rc-e. This thing is a beast. Wish I had bought one 8 years ago. You live and you learn.

had a ryobi for a while. eneded up getting pissed because it wouldnt run and throwing it against the wall in my garage a few years ago, leaving a good sized hole. bought an echo and my blood pressure has been several points lower ever since. never skimp on yard equipment. if my echo ever dies, ill be trying stihl.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to buy a speed feed head for it.

man, that is a damn grass cutting machine...keep good fuel in it and it will last until you are too old to want to frick with it.

I just bought the FS 91 R 3 weeks ago... Tons of power... Changed to a speed feed head... But have issues starting sometimes... Especially if i run it completely out of 2 cycle gas

I really want a stihl or echo as well. Keep thinking my ryobi is gonna Crap out, but it just keeps on cranking. Thinking a running over it. Lol

Is it pretty lite? The echos I've played with seem kinda heavy.

Bought one four years ago. Only problem is the stock head that comes with it. Not the best design. Some strings work better than others

A high quality weed eater does all the work.
Just need to hang on and walk.

i have a stihl string trimmer that is fricking up. (probably because of operator error).

the line constantly gets hung and won't release when i tap it.

its a slightly older model with the double line that you feed in without opening it.

any thoughts?
