BRAVE is funded in part by a federal grant so any "accidents" of misbilling something to the wrong program could send someone to Club Fed.

Eh, probably the worst that would happen is they would have to pay back the feds. Just like we saw with the recent bike path bullshite.
To me, this whole thing boils down to just cronyism and piss poor judgement. They're giving 10k to a guy who's supposed to teach kids how to interact with cops. Said guy then turns around and says the cops that got executed received God's justice.
That just goes to show you how incompetent and morally corrupt these people are...and we're footing the bill for them to make the problem even worse.

That 125,000 would have pushed the total amount of funds l.s.u got from brave to almost a million dollars just for research work or coordinating research on gang violence WE DO NOT HAVE GANGS IN B.R ask anyone from any neighborhood and ask them what's the name of the gang in that area they probably would tell you we have crime but I know of no gang. So what's been going on is brave officers harassing people padding the stat's to keep the federal dollars flowing show results or the dollars stop the mayor did nothing wrong

In the eyes of NBR, she could execute whitey on the front steps of City Hall and she'd be innocent as can be. Her following isn't logical or intelligent. It's not shocking that they see nothing wrong with any of this.

Who said this? This is completely false. I haven't seen anything about brave that's gang-specific, but rather violent crime in general.

Once again, isn't the whole point of the program to target violent crime in areas where it ACTUALLY happened?

That had to have been a Gravy post because my cholesterol went up just from reading it.

I bet Gravy thinks that we should really crack down on the violence in neighborhoods off of Old Jefferson

He's said before that there is just as much crime in SBR as there is in NBR but the only difference is that the cops just arrest more people in NBR.

Speaking from personal experience, a lot of crime in Southdowns, Capitol Heights, and Lakeshore is pulled off in daylight by NBR shitstains who don't work.
It doesn't do much good to do police intervention in those areas when the problem is the element that visits from NBR and Gardere.

An, yes. The old "ask anyone" argument. Quite effective in middle school.

Prostitution Rings and "Car Clubs"? Sure. We have those.
Competing Drug Distribution Networks? Yup. Those, too.
..BUT NOT GANGS, DAMMIT.

The interesting thing is that all the crime in SBR come from the pieces of shite in NBR, so in reality, NBR is the entire problem in this city.

The Louisiana Legislative Auditor's office was asked to investigate following reports of questionable deals for BRAVE programs and people who were tied to the mayor's administration. Calls for an investigation came Monday after WBRZ and the Hayride, a conservative website, outlined contracts associated with the crime-fighting program in Baton Rouge.
