War with Russia is lunacy. Wall Street would be obliterated. All the war mongering in the world would be needed to push us into that fight. The risk of nukes coming out make it far too great a risk overall. Plenty of smaller asses to kick out there than to war with Russia and watch the whole world burn.

Well, look at this way. Wall Street made out like bandits when we invaded Iraq. Our Military probably thinks it can wipe the floor with the Russians. Nukes coming out is really off the table. It always was. No possible outcome could make using new-clear weapons look desirable.

Back in WWII Hitler's flunkies suggested that the allied armies massing in southern England for operation OVERLORD would make a good target for chemical weapons, which the Germans had, and they had delivery means too.
