LOS ANGELES -- Chris Paul and James Harden have been training together since the Houston Rockets acquired Paul from the LA Clippers in a trade last month. They made their public debut as teammates Sunday in front of a standing-room-only crowd at Los Angeles' famed Drew League. Harden finished with game highs of 27 points and 12 rebounds, while adding six assists and two steals for his LAUNFD (pronounced "L.A. Unified") team, which pulled out an 83-81 win over a Home Town Favorites team that featured current NBA players Jordan Bell, Delon Wright and Tim Hardaway Jr. In the first half, the two point guards, who now must learn to share a backcourt, seemed to trade off ballhandling and playmaking duties with one player firmly in control of the possession and the other spotting up to shoot. But as the game went on, there was more synergy to their games.

At one point late in the game, Harden was stripped of the ball by Dorell Wright, leaving Harden shaken up and holding his left thumb. Harden would finish the game, but it was an uncomfortable moment for Houston Rockets CEO Tad Brown, who was sitting courtside.

It's weird that they're acting like James Harden is a point guard and has never played another position.
Not even 9 months ago people thought it was silly when it was announced that Harden was going to be playing point guard.
Anyway, time to watch the haters come in the thread and find something negative like they don't play defense.

There's no defense in the Drew League, is this suppose to be a surprise?

In a couple years they need to air these Drew League games. The atmosphere there is nuts. Goodman League in the DC area is crazy too. Idk if Durant still plays there

I think as long as the NBA has these guys under contract, they can't air the games. They would if they could, but if they started airing the games, the NBA guys couldn't play.

Yep, I have never understood it either

Even as a two guard he was very ball dominant. It is not like his skill set is that of a Ray Allen or Curry where on paper you can easily see how him and Cp3 would fit together. It is fair to question how they plan to make it work.
