Family courts have ruined marriage. They incentivize the women to leave. If they leave they get the kids and monthly pay checks. If they stay they have to put-up with husbands small annoyances every day.

Government ruins everything.

The problem is that minorities and lower class families are multiplying like rabbits, meaning this country will be unrecognizable in a few years.

Lack of successful marriages in previous generation. Also people waiting later in life to get married.

It's simple data mining.

I have watched literally every couple in my family divorce and remarry.
If I marry, it will be because I want children and a life partner. Im not sure I want to bring children into this world, and these hoes arent getting any less crazy.
May never happen.

It has been reported that something like 50% of marriages end in divorce.

If I gave you a parachute and told you to jump out of a plane, but there's only a 50% chance it would open...what would you do?

No. Younger generations are less religious.

Well then maybe they should look at the statistics on poverty and lack of marriage in families. Raising children in a marriage is a lot better than doing it out of wedlock for a slew of reasons.

If you want to have kids, get married. The security is valuable to the kids.

This is the primary reason I got married. We had the kid and I didn't want her to be raised in an unstable situation. My wife played her cards and I complied. It was the best decision I made.

Blame it on welfare, WIC, EBT, government housing, free medical, etc.. Women don't need a man to take care of them like in the old days. They know the government will.

Just wait and see what happens when the gubmint checks stop flowing in.

All of a sudden it won't be so popular to have 7 kids from different deadbeat dads when they are starving to death.

Every male with a decent job won't be able to fight off the whores and their strings of bastards in their skirts.

Why should I get married? I don't want kids and I get to slay sluts. No need to get married

Sounds like they are less scientific, enduring marriage is directly linked to superior personal outcomes.

The higher socioeconomic classes are still getting married.

It is the poor and low IQ that are getting married less and less.

so fewer Americans getting divorced....

Funny how any other thread you'll see people complain about couples getting married before they're ready. Now marriages are down, and everyone is complaining about that.

It just proves that...people will complain about anything.

Single mom culture - look how cool I am because I'm a single mom!

Add this to irresponsible or non-existent Dad culture and we're going to keep going downhill.

Of course, it is the OT.

Work at a fast food job? You're a loser who provides terrible service and deserves to be replaced by a robot.

Don't work? You are a lazy good-for-nothing who mooches off the government.
