Correct, the player pool locks as soon as the first pick is made (not at 12:20 pm, but probably close enough).
Also, I will be tracking picks within the league site (critical Google sheet in the OP) as well as posts 2-4 of this thread. There will be times when I cannot do a great job of keeping up (work, moving this weekend, etc.), but it will work out just fine.
