More specifically, sedentary lifestyle has been linked strongly to a decreased sperm count. This isn't really shocking considering how life has changed over the years. More of the developed world sits behind a desk for a living than ever before.

To be fair, many chemicals that we are routinely exposed to can act as endocrine disrupters at high enough concentrations. One of the most studied symptoms being changes to reproductive fitness and expression of opposite gender sex characteristics.
