i mean if you're going to be a homer can you say taylor gabriel? Mack and Hightower are paid like top 5 at their position.

Jerall Freeman and Cam Jordan. Both were among the top players at their position last year but didn't get the recognition they deserve because of a bad supporting (especially true in Jordan's case).

Chris Harris Jr is still criminally underrated.

I'll throw in Devin McCourty too then

I'm still amazed that Logan Ryan was so successful against Demaryius Thomas. Nobody has ever been able to blanket him in that fashion.
Random thought.

Underrated is not equal to underpaid. Hightower only making one pro bowl is ridiculous and Mack was one of the main reasons Matt Ryan was able to win MVP and Atlanta won the NFC.

He's deffinitly underrated although not the same level of player as the other guys posted in this thread
Titans got a good player if they know how to use him.

Mack has been to 4 pro bowls and 2 all-pros. Year in and year out he was considered a top 3 center.
Dont'a Hightower isn't going to beat out the likes of Kuechly for those awards when he only plays 60-70% of the snaps...he's GOOD and paid like a top 5 LBer because when he's on the field he is a top 5 LBer. Issue is, he can't stay healthy either.

He's played in 67 games out of 80 possible (83%)

And yet Mack didn't make the top 100 players for 2017.
Hightower barely cracked it at 94.

Hightower has missed at least 2 games per year outside of one (2013). And even then, he doesn't play close to the # of snaps those guys play, even injured.
Wagner missed 5 games in 2014, he still played 67% of his team's snaps.
Kuechly missed 6 games this past year, he still played 61% of his team's snaps.
Hightower missed 3 games this past year, he played 68% of his team's snaps.
Even when he wasn't injured, he still has games where he only plays 2/3 of the game. Kuechly and Wagner never seem to leave the field but a few plays.

I think there's like one center who made that list. To be fair, that list was also the one that left off Ryan and Graham after they both had phenomenal seasons in the past...

Thw biggest difference between Atlanta going 8-8 in 2015 and NFC champs in 2016 was Matt Ryan being off his arse and the main reason for that was Alex Mack.
Doesn't underrated mean being good and not appreciated?

It should be obvious that list is BS every year.
