How is that not right
In the PAC 12 any of the California schools can play twice
In the SEC LSU/ Florida Bama/ Tennessee and Auburn/ Georgia can play twice
In the BIG Purdue/ Indiana could play twice
I am unsure about the ACC and their schedule but isn't Florida St and Miami in different divisions

There is a huge difference between POSSIBLY having a rematch in a conference title game vs GUARANTEEING it.

The rematch doesn't bother me, but the fact that it could be rivals takes some of the luster off the regular season matchup.

The rematches in the SECCG were never between Auburn-Bama, Florida-Georgia, etc. The rivalries within the division are most intense when compared to cross-divisional ones.

I also hate that the Big 12 is on shaky ground. As a traditionalist I'm tired of losing rivalry games because of super conferences. So why if Texas goes PAC 12 and SEC gains Okie State and OU. That means LSU gets to forge rivalries within the state of Oklahoma every year and travels to traditional SEC places like Athens and Knoxville once every 20 years. That sucks...

Let's apply this to the first 20 years of the conference.

1996 - Nebraska vs. Colorado
1997 - Nebraska vs. Kansas State
1998 - Kansas State vs. Texas A&M
1999 - Nebraska vs. Kansas State
2000 - Oklahoma vs. Texas
2001 - Colorado vs. Texas
2002 - Colorado vs. Oklahoma
2003 - Oklahoma vs. Texas
2004 - Oklahoma vs. Texas
2005 - Texas vs. Texas Tech
2006 - Oklahoma vs. Nebraska
2007 - Missouri vs. Kansas
2008 - (I have no idea - the infamous 3 way South tie year)
2009 - Texas vs. Nebraska
2010 - Nebraska vs. Texas A&M (Missouri eliminated based on head to head with Nebraska, A&M 2-2 vs. the other 4 while both Oklahoma schools were 1-2)
2011 - Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State
2012 - Kansas State vs. Oklahoma
2013 - Baylor vs. Oklahoma
2014 - Baylor vs. TCU
2015 - Oklahoma vs. TCU
2016 - Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State
