What exactly Machine is the position we are in???

Do you mean we have a government spending more than ever in Baton Rouge and you didn't like it when it was spending less two or three years ago??
isn't it funny how after Blanco (D) left office, with a democrat controlled state legislature, we had a state surplus. Enter Bobby Jindal, who battled the legislature for four years, until it went Republican is 2011.

and wouldn't you know it, that's about the time our legislature became Jindal's lapdog, doing anything he said, regardless of the determent it did to the state.

oh yeah...and we're broke thanks to 'em!

so don't try and pin this mess on JBE when it was the f**ktard republicans that got us into this mess.

The mess I saw when Jindal left office was the state government was too big. JBE has grown it even more so to me he is Jindal on steroids. The big difference in the two was Jindal tried to keep from raising some taxes and JBE lies in bed at night dreaming up new taxes to grow government.

KBB left with a surplus because of federal money from Katrina BUT I would much prefer KBB to JBE.

So what mess is it that you see?

It is obvious you favor government over citizens.

I appreciate what JBE did last week. He called the legislature on the carpet by sending them a letter in advance telling them he is welcome to hear any ideas they may have to avoid the fiscal cliff. The legislature has done nothing but obstruct, they have zero ideas and the only thing they have as a comeback is "those who elected me don't want me to raise taxes". They are taking advantage of an uninformed electorate, an electorate who relies on the very programs they want to cut. They are only voted for because of their stance on guns and abortion (which the state legislature cant make a huge impact on these issues).
