I honestly have never turned my flashers in the rain, but at the same time I have no idea why it bothers anyone. I drive on the interstate more than most. I've never been in a situation where them having the emergency blinkers on affected me. I much rather a person with their blinkers on compared to the person too stupid to turn their lights on at all.

Because if I see flashers on the interstate while driving in front of me, I will start to take evasive maneuvers.

If large numbers of people started doing it the road would be a chaotic mess.
