Do you find this to be more beneficial than buying from the store? Also, are there any other shave clubs similar to this that are better?

They must be doing something right because, look at the 800 pound gorilla (Gillette) getting in on the action, now.

DSC looks pretty decent, they sell their blades (DORCO) on Amazon.

Harry's is the other big shave club. They've both come about because Gillette is way too expensive, now.

You will get many suggestions on here from many of us to try a double-edge safety razor. I've made the switch and am completely happy.

For the record, I don't think there's ANYTHING for a dollar from Dollar Shave Club.

I've been using Harry's razors for 2 years and will never go back.

Been using DSC for a couple years now. I don't grow a ton of facial hair but I work in a clean shave job so I shave twice a week. They work great for my needs and I spend less money than I would in store razor blades. Wife uses them too and complains a lot less than she did about store blades.

I bought the razor and 17 replacement blades at Sams for like $19. Will last me years.

I use Harry's. My only complaint is if I wait a few days to shave and my hair is a little longer the blades don't clean in the water very well.

I never had that problem with the Mach III's

Double edge safety razor for the win. I can't believe how much money I've wasted over the years trying the Gillette this or Schick that and still got razor burns and a shitty shave. I just purchased 200 Feather blades for my safety razor that's enough blades for almost 4 years at one blade a week. After the initial purchase of the razor, safety razor shaving has to be the cheapest and closest shave you will get.

Use cold creek water with a hunting knife for a true man's shave.

I've been doing it about a year - I use the triple blade. I keep one in my travel bag and one in the shower. I don't have to think about buying blades. It's more of a convient thing - but if the club would stop, I'd go to the store just like other crap I have to buy.

frick all of them. I started using a safety razor. But I used them before and I liked it because I ended up having a near endless supply of razors after a while, I didn't find their produce was any better or worse than other companies, but I saw this weekend they were a sponsor for the world series of poker tournament.

I use the $3 pack from DSC and I'm on the not so hairy plan (every other month) and I literally have 20 packs of five blades per in my drawer. At the rate I use them, I can cancel in December and not buy a blade until I'm 45. I like them, but the $3 aren't the best blades but they're exactly what I expect.

Former DSC subscriber. Price is good but quality isn't. I switched to Harry's and won't look back. Better blades.

My only knock against Harry's is that shipping from their location to my home takes a very long time since it is sent via USPS.
