I've heard some form of "if they continue trying to rip coverage" come out of no less than 10 different progressive's mouths this morning already.
are they all on the same talking point email chain or do they just parrot one another?
Any of our resident libs in on this?

That's just politics. A phenomenon which occurs regularly within the stables of both donkey and pachyderm.

I too would like to know the manner these talking points are disseminated.

Yeah I just heard some douche on fox say that and I wanted to throw the tv out the window.

True. Both parties are the same. The stupid division among the electorate is designed to distract us from the pain of the butt-fricking Washington is giving us.

Texts, phone calls, and email?

False. If you are an expert on the use of rhetoric (like me) you would discern the frequency of words used on a subject.
For example, the adjective 'staunch' is only used to describe the right. There is no such thing as a 'staunch' liberal.
When talking points come out the Dems tend to repeat them verbatim. The GOP uses talking points as ideas, not individual words. So every GOP spokesman is taking the same angle but using his/her own language.

The prospect of "ripping coverage" is so "dark", even "mainstream republicans" find this time to be in "uncharted waters".

probably true but how would you know?
There are so many more dems on TV to speak to the issue that out of the hundreds some about have to mouth the same words

The results are the same.

he is making an observation and stating that this is a subject he is well versed in
seems pretty reasonable to me

It's one of my many talents. For example, the use of filler term 'ya know' has been creeping into professional broadcast journalism for about 5 years now.
When a network anchor is delivering the evening news he is reading from script. But on Sunday morning network round table discussions (or cable news weekday round table discussions) there is no teleprompter. So, they revert back to 'ya know' constantly.
IE, "Well, Chuck, what do you think about this Donald, Jr. scandal?"
Chuck Todd: "Well, ya know, I've said before that if this administration continues to, ya know, keep flailing around and, ya know, changing course..."
In the 1960s nobody would have kept his job as a professional broadcaster saying 'ya know.'
