I don't refrigerate. Kikkoman soy sauce and San-J Tamari stay in the cabinet or pantry just fine.

Same with mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire, hot sauce, BBQ Sauce, etc. Never had an issue, and my refrigerator stays much neater than most.

Kikkoman bottle says "Refrigerate after opening", who am I to argue.
