I feel like Lil Kim has at least SOME skillset to prevent himself from getting assassinated.
I mean, lots of great rulers throughout history were assassinated. How does he prevent it from happening to him?
Also he's seemingly presided over the development of ICBM's that can travel quite some distance.
He's not a retard like many of us thought he was. He's closer to a Saddam Hussein than he is to a retard.

Heck even that movie Red Dawn had North Koreans as the guys who took down America
It was the Soviet Union in the original movie and was supposed to be China in the remake. However, China threatened to refuse to allow the Red Dawn remake to be shown in Chinese theaters, so the movie studio "fixed it in post" retroactively changing all of the insignia on the uniforms from Chinese to North Korean.

North Korea is weak and could be flattened. But they have one undeniable trump card. They have a hostage.
Seoul is the world's 16th largest city. The Seoul Capital Area houses about half of the country's population of 50.22 million people. The world's 4th largest metropolitan economy with a GDP of US$845.9 billion[18] in 2014 after Tokyo, New York City and Los Angeles. Ranked sixth in the Global Power City Index and Global Financial Centres Index, the metropolis exerts a major influence in global affairs as one of the five leading hosts of global conferences. Seoul is the world's most wired city[24] and ranked first in technology readiness and on and on and on

You are correct. They basically hold South Korea hostage. How a 1st world country like SK hasn't solved this problem on their own is beyond me. If Mexico had nukes pointed at us, we would have solved that situation long ago.

Red Dawn was the Russians and Cubans. Let's not reference that abortion of a remake.

NK and Iran and Pakistan have some arms deals. The talking heads on Fox were discussing this over the last week saying the ICBM launch success could triple their missile exports to those nations.
Would not be surprised if NK was making and selling small arms and explosives either. Maybe some of our veterans of Afghanistan can tell us if they recovered any NK small arms/explosives?
One might think with our naval assets in the region of NK another tool in our belt would be a naval blockade. Kind of a severe and nearly wartime maneuver but just saying.

Um, no. There is a lot of fear built into the masses to control them. NK cannot take down our power grid through hacking alone. No country can take down our power grid through hacking. You will need a large mix of hacking and physical damage.
They tend to make assumptions based off events in smaller countries.

Ultimately the US would beat NK in a war; however, as General Mattis has said, the victory would come at a great cost to both the US and SK.
Seoul SK (Capital of SK with a total metropolitan population of 25 Million) lies within artillery range of NK. The NK's have spent 50 years building fortified underground artillery positions where they can roll out, fire and then roll back into cover. A 1955 vintage 150mm artillery piece is still deadly effective today when it comes to firing on a city.
The terrain of North Korea is rugged mountains. The NK's have prepared by digging into those mountains and it won't be easy to dig them out. This isn't a big flat desert battle ground like Iraq. It's more like the mountainous regions of Afghanistan and we've had a LOT of problems in the last 15 years in those areas.
There is a lot of information out there about this...google it.

We can destroy them. The delicate issue here is that South Korea and Japan are sitting ducks in the meantime. While are invading, North Korea would be leveling Seoul and Japan.
We wouldn't want to do that to our allies, and they don't want that either.
And China and Russia don't want war on their borders.

Maybe North Korea isn't that bad and we mess with them because they won't accept the shackles of the global banking elite?
I bet they don't even have an income tax

Kinda hard to enforce a tax when grass and tree bark are considered dietary staples.
