i bought into this until i actually started doing my own grocery shopping in college. frozen food isn't cheap at all.

Well, no it isn't.

Fresh food is... So if the study is comparing it to purchases of fresh vegetables and such, then it's misleading. If frozen and canned are included, then it is disturbing.
