I was always an HBK man myself, I just feel like Michaels was more level headed while Bret Hart always seemed more self centered and in it for himself. I get that the Montreal Screwjob sucked and was unfair but Hart helped lay the groundwork for that with his selfishness. I feel like Michaels was more of a team player for WWF/WWE and put the overall show first instead of himself.
Both were great technical wrestlers though who put on a great show in the ring.

Tough decision. I'll give a slight edge to the hitman but I see where you are coming from bc it is true
Bret Hart's gimmick was himself essentially. I don't think he ever developed that ability to differentiate the wrestler from the non wrestler. Kinda hard to do when you grow up in the family business of professional and amateur wrestling.
I enjoyed their iron man match at wm 12 more than the survivor series one of course.
Hart could have lost the next night on raw to Shawn couldn't he?
I enjoyed the hart and Austin program more than Hbk and hart one.

I'm pretty sure Bret hart pulled more arse than wilt chamberlain.
He didn't do the drugs like the other wrestler did but he admitted to sleeping with other women.

I always pulled for Sean Michaels I always like his boots and pants were stylish. I never cared for Bret hart cause he always wore pink and as a kid only girls wear pink.

HBK. Bret was wooden on the mic. Technically sound, but felt like he wrestled the same match every time.
