not according to the reprimand. he was reprimanded for the confrontation with the customer, not buying the cookie for the cop. Will be interesting to see what the management side of the story is if we ever hear it.


any way what is interesting to me is how fast this kind of stuff takes off and where it ends up over a few days

That wasn't the way that I read it but it could have been. There's always more to these stories.

It sounded like the purchase of the cookie was the offense and the angry customer part was the result. I just assume that writing someone up has to be for violating a policy or code of conduct.
