Wishful thinking.

Truth is, Falcons have a tremendous future with tons of young talent. The NFL MVP, the best WR in the game, a top RB, and a very young and exciting defense, adding Poe along with the NFL sack leader from a season ago. Coming of a playoff run where we didn't have one of the top corners in the league.

Sarkisian replacing Shanahan is the biggest ? mark. But I'm pretty sure we're not going anywhere.

This sounds a lot like Panthers fans after their best team ever got Von Millered in SB50. Falcons fans have to hope they can ever get back there again with all precedent pointing out how difficult it is to succeed in the regular season and playoffs two years in a row after losing the SB.

Dude, they had a 25 point lead in second half of the fricking Super Bowl and they still lost it.

There's like 90% chance that they will be dealing with a complete mind frick of that happening especially with the usual super bowl hangover making that completely worse.

They will be hard pressed to get back to where they were even if they have all of that talent on paper still there.
