If there's no direct relationship with anyone legally in the US, they aren't getting in. Gotta be spouse, child, parent, sibling, direct in-law, etc.
If they don't pass that, they get sent back. It's temporary to understand why they are coming here and how we can crack down on the ones with bad intentions. It isn't perfect but the current system sure isn't.
