Difference in this years team vs 2009

For starters, The 09 team had a little more talent. The 09 team also had bigger balls. This team, led by Kramer (who I love and respect. Had a great year), but they got caught up in the attention it seemed to me. They didnt seem focused at certain points this postseason. (Mainly talking about the older guys. Junior/seniors)
The 09 team wasnt playing any games. They were focused and not acting like sodtball players in their dogout.
Look at 2 of our badasses from 09 in this picture (Micah and Sean). I know they are older, but they were part of the fear from that 09 team that this team lacked. Deichman seemed like the only intimidator, maybe Lange and Hess too.

that team was immensely more talented, not that it's a bad thing

That's fricking easy...overall talent. That team was seriously stacked, this team has talent, but not that kind of talent. That 2009 team woukd have whipped this year's teams arse. It's no comparison in my mind.

That 09 team was loaded. Before playing Texas they just blew by everyone else.

Black players?
No Buzzy Haydel was also a huge missing piece.

Go back and look up the 09 lineups in the CWS. It's s fricking joke how much talent that team had.

The 2009 team won The National Championship. They took care of business.

Way,way more talent, and we were playing a big 12 team, they can't hang with the SEC

We had a few African American players back. Too many white kids now

For starters
Look at the 1-4 batters in each lineup. It's not even comparable. Kramer and Cole were terrible in this whole cws tournament. Duplantis was pretty much a nonfactor and Deichmann fell off the face of the earth. What was he 0-4 last night and 1-4 the night before?
It's sad when the bottom of the lineup is the heart.
2009 team would beat this team 8 out of 10 times.

I see some who looks just like Kramer there

The 09 team also had bigger balls.
Know this from experience?

09 team was all business and loaded with talent.
This team reminded me of the Smoke teams: pretty talented but prima donnas and not nearly as focused.
09 team would've run UF out of Omaha.

Is this a discussion or are you telling us the right answer?

A little more? Lol you could've had a blind turtle coaching 09 and they've won the whole thing.

We were able to set up our rotation in 2009 , both Florida and LSU didn't have their Aces, but Florida had less pitching issues than we did

While I think 09 was a more talented team, you have to take into account the different Bat/ball era and stadiums. Rosenblatt played a lot differently than TDA.
